MILTON, Mass. – Coming off a 9-0 victory at home over Gordon on Thursday, the Nichols women's tennis team added another Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) sweep to their fall tally, toppling Curry 9-0 on Saturday afternoon at the "Big Nine" Tennis Courts. With the victory, the Bison advance to 5-3 (4-2 CCC).
 
Antonia Carrero & Charis Vogler led things off with an 8-3 victory on the first doubles court, while duos of Tifany Lucart & Sophia Leonardi and Jordan Knowles & Kelley Carlin both landed 8-0 victories to give the Bison a 3-0 lead.
 
Carrero was able to knock off Sasha Borkov, 7-5, 6-1, in No. 1 singles action, earning her second win of the week. Vogler continued her stellar freshman campaign with a 6-0, 6-1 second court singles win. Both Leonardi and Lucart took care of business on the third and fifth courts, respectively, battling to 6-1, 6-0 triumphs. Both Johanna Schroeder (fourth court) and Camila Magrin (sixth court) won in straight sets to help the Bison stay perfect in the decision.
 
Nichols will continue CCC action in a mid-week match with Suffolk on Wednesday, October 12 at Belmont Hill, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
