DUDLEY, Mass. - The Nichols field hockey program fell to Wellesley College, 3-0, Wednesday night in non-conference action at Vendetti Field.

The Bison (5-7) held the Blue (5-6) scoreless until 26 seconds into the second half. The Blue found the back of the net once more before the end of the third quarter, before putting the game away in the fourth with their third goal.

Sophomore netminder Sophia Venable recorded 15 saves on the night, her second highest mark for a single game.

Nichols continues non-conference play Tuesday, October 11, when they host Clark University at 7:00 p.m. at Vendetti Field.
