BRISTOL, R.I. - The Nichols men's soccer program defeated Roger Williams University, 2-0, Tuesday afternoon in their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) regular season finale at Bayside Field.
Sophomore
William Savage opened the scoring for the Bison (10-6-3, 3-3-3 CCC), sending a strike that bent around the Hawks (11-3-4, 6-2-1 CCC) netminder, finding the back of the net in the first eight minutes. With the goal, Savage ends the regular season with the second-most goals in the CCC with 11, and tied for second in the Conference with 25 points.

Derek Axon recorded six saves on the contest. Axon finishes the regular season second in the CCC in saves (73) and save percentage (.820).
With the win, the Bison finish the season ranked sixth in the CCC, and will travel to #3 ranked Western New England University in the CCC Quarterfinals on Saturday, October 29, at Supernant Field.
