Meghan McElaney potted her first collegiate goal in Nichols College's 4-1 win over Western New England University Friday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Levy Rink.

Victoria Bakopanos recorded 18 saves to earn her third win of the season while sophomore
Grace Melanson registered her first collegiate assist – the primary helper on Portt's second goal of the contest.

Kara Santoro were also credited with apples; McAleer now has 98 career points (44-54-98), leaving her two shy of becoming the first student-athlete in program history to reach he century mark. Nichols killed off all four WNE (6-11-2, 4-8-0 CCC) power play opportunities.
