Game Recap: Women's Ice Hockey |

Rams down Bison, 5-2

HARRISVILLE, R.I. – Senior Isabella Portt and junior Sarah Zeidan each found the back of the net in Nichols College's 5-2 loss to Suffolk University Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's ice hockey action at Levy Rink.

Graduate student Kara Santoro and junior Kaci Johnson each picked up assists on the afternoon for the Bison (7-7-1, 4-6-1 CCC) while freshman netminder Victoria Bakopanos stopped 31 shots. Sophomore Megan Buxton paced NC with five shots on goal.

The Rams (13-2-0, 8-1-0 CCC) went 2-for-4 with the man advantage and killed off all three Nichols PP opportunities. Shana Cote collected two of the Suffolk goals on the day.
