Abrianna Vazquez scored a team-high 22 points to lift the Nichols College women's basketball to an 84-79 win over Gordon College Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Nichols Athletic Center.

Jillian Spillane pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds to go with six points and a pair of steals while sophomore
Summer Klein collected 18 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Freshman
Hadley Houghton chipped in with 14 points as the Bison (7-8, 3-5 CCC) knocked down 12 of their 15 shots from the charity stripe (80 percent).
Nichols trailed by one (64-63) heading into the fourth quarter before outscoring the Fighting Scots 23-15 over the final 10 minutes. Klein tied the game with a layup at 7:44 before five-straight points from Vazquez staked the home team to a five-point lead. Vazquez finished the stanza with nine points while Houghton netted seven and Klein picked up four.
The Bison forced 28 turnovers and turned them into 29 points.
