Game Recap: Women's Ice Hockey |

No. 8 Gulls edge Bison, 2-1

HARRISVILLE, R.I. – Junior Lauren Rokala potted her third goal of the season in Nichols College's 2-1 loss to No. 8 Endicott Friday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's ice hockey at Levy Rink.

Freshman Victoria Bakopanos turned aside 45 shots in goal for the Bison (6-4-1, 6-3-1 CCC) while junior Jessica Gossas-Moberg picked up the primary assist on Rokala's tally.

The Gulls (10-3-1, 8-1-1 CCC) outshot the Bison47-16 and won 35 of 56 face-offs. Kaylee Liberty scored the eventual game-winning goal for EC with 2:33 remaining in the second period.
