Game Recap: Women's Ice Hockey |

Bison can't pull off upset, blanked at No. 8 Endicott 2-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's ice hockey team was defeated by No. 8 Endicott College 2-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Freshman netminder Victoria Bakopanos stopped 41 of the 43 shots she faced as the Bison (6-5-1, 6-4-1 CCC) were outshot 43-13. Sophomore Grace Wiggett led NC with three shots.

Endicott (11-3-1, 9-1-1 CCC) broke a scoreless tie with 2:14 remaining in the second and added an insurance tally at 13:48 of the third.
