DUDLEY, Mass. – Junior Abigail Karalus scored the game-winning goal as time expired in the third quarter to propel the Nichols College field hockey team to a 4-2 win over Rivier University Tuesday night in non-conference action at Vendetti Field.

Graduate student Dana Edwards, junior Erin Anthony, and freshman Ryan Mellor also scored for the Bison (6-4), who outshot the Raiders (0-5) by a 29-9 margin. Junior Mackenzie Doran added a pair of assists for NC while freshman Sophie Venable and junior Megan Fuchs combined to make three saves in the win.

Nichols also held a 13-4 edge in penalty corners.
