Field Hockey falls at RWU, 2-0

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Nichols College field hockey team suffered a 2-0 loss at Roger Williams University Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Bayside Field.

Freshman Sophia Venable matched her career-high with 12 saves for the Bison (5-4, 0-2 CCC), who were outshot 23-2 on the afternoon.

Amelia Monahan scored her sixth and seventh goals of the season for the Hawks (5-2, 1-1 CCC).
