DUDLEY, Mass. - Senior captain Maegan Roy and junior Niah Samboy each scored second-half goals to propel the Nichols College women's soccer team to a 2-0 win over Fitchburg State Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action at the Nichols Soccer Field. The win evens the Bison's record at 2-2-1 and drops the Falcons to 0-4-0.

Nichols outshot the Falcons 35-7 but was held off the scoreboard until early in the second half when Samboy's second of the season gave it a 1-0 lead. Just over 20 minutes later, freshman Alyssa Tarabocchia fed Roy for her third goal of the season.

Freshman Adie Hughes stopped three shots in her return to the pitch to earn her second collegiate win for head coach Caitlin Pickul.
