DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College softball team swept a doubleheader from Gordon College Wednesday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Nichols Softball Field.
Game One – Bison 10, Fighting Scots 9
The Bison rallied for eight runs in the bottom of the seventh to turn a 9-2 deficit into a one-run win. The frame was highlighted by two-run singles from graduate student
Katrina Valeri and junior
Samantha Kostek, and ended with a bases-loaded walk to sophomore
Allie Brown that plated graduate student
Alexandria Rodi. Valeri and Kostek each finished the contest with three RBI while Kostek notched three hits. Sophomore
Alyssa Ouellette managed to secure her sixth win of the season despite allowing 14 hits and nine runs over seven.
Game Two – Bison 4, Fighting Scots 1
Kostek and Brown each had two hits and junior
Candice Nelson held Gordon to three hits and one run over seven to earn her fourth win of the season. Kostek, along with graduate student

Colleen Callahan, each recorded an RBI single for NC.
