SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Nichols College women's tennis team silenced Western New England University by a score of 9-0 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Volvo Tennis Courts.
Sophomore and No. 1 singles student-athlete
IsaBella Winter won 6-2, 6-2 and teamed with freshman
Jordan Knowles for an 8-3 win at No. 2 singles. Knowles, meanwhile, was a 7-5, 6-4 winner at No. 5 singles.
Senior
Juliana Herrera picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles and was an 8-4 winner at No. 1 doubles with Winter. Freshman
Kelley Carlin notched a 6-7, 6-4, 7-6 win at No. 4 singles and, alongside junior
Victoria Lussier, won 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.

Kara Stankewitz notched a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles and teamed with Herrera was a 8- triumph at No. 1 doubles. Senior
Amanda Costa recorded a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles.
