NEW LONDON, Conn. - Graduate Student Christian Naccari went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored in Nichols Colleges 19-8 loss to Mitchell College Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.

Naccari blasted a three-run home run in the first inning for the Bison (0-3) and also recorded a pair of singles while senior Nathaniel Cormier and junior Victor Valentin each went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs. Valentin plated a pair with a single up the middle in the opening frame before Cormier smacked a two-run dinger in the third.

The contest was tied at nine heading to the bottom of the seventh, where the Mariners (5-1) pushed across eight runs, sparked by a three-run triple from junior John-John Jose, who finished the afternoon 2-for-5 with five RBI and two runs scored. Senior Jeremy Sagun recorded four hits and four RBI for MItchell.

Graduate student Brodie Altieri was credited with the loss for Nichols (0-3) as he allowed six hits and eight runs in 1.1 innings of work.
