Jillian Spillane scored a career-high 16 points and snared a career-best 12 rebounds in Nichols College's 80-73 loss at Salve Regina University Thursday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Rodgers Recreation Center.

Summer Klein scored a game-high 25 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds to go with four steals and four dimes for the Bison (5-5, 1-2 CCC). Junior
Leandra Ortiz added 19 points while sophomore
Natalie Gray chipped in with five points and four rebounds off the bench.
The Seahawks (4-5, 3-0 CCC) outrebounded the Bison, 47-39, and won despite committing 39 turnovers. Nichols, meanwhile, registered 31 turnovers of its own and shot just 50 percent from the charity stripe (11-of-22).Â
Salve Regina led wire-to-wire.
