BOSTON, Mass. – The Nichols College men's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season to Wentworth Institute of Technology on Tuesday night, 95-79, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Tansey Gymnasium.
The Bison – who entered the contest 8-0 overall (2-0 CCC) and received votes in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 poll – were playing their second game in as many days following last night's overtime win at home over the Bantams of Trinity (CT) College.

Jakigh Dottin led the Bison with 20 points and nine rebounds while freshman
Tahmeen Dupree – who scored a career-high 20 last night – went for 19 points, three boards, and three dimes.
Nichols trailed by one at the break before being outscored 57-42 in the second half. The Bison were outrebounded 47-41, shot 37 percent from the field (26-of-71), and committed 15 turnovers.
Trey Carrier and Kevin Fernandez combined to score 59 of the Leopards 95 points.
