Jaekwon Spencer netted 16 points in Nichols College's 67-66 win at Salve Regina University Wednesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's basketball action at Rogers Recreation Center.

The Seahawks (4-3, 0-1 CCC) held a 46-45 edge on the glass and led by as many as 14 points midway through the first half. Nichols freshman
Tahmeen Dupree gave the Bison the lead for good with 4:06 remaining in the second half to put the Bison ahead 63-61. Alectus followed with a triple to extend the lead to five (65-61) with 2:39 to go.
Salve Regina clawed to within one and had a chance to win the game in the final seconds, but saw its three-point attempt land off the mark.
