Nor'easters edge Bison in CCC opener, 3-2

DUDLEY, Mass. – Juniors Kaci Johnson and Jessica Gossas-Moberg scored goals in Nichols College's 3-2 loss at the University of New England Friday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's ice hockey action at Harry Alfond Forum.

The Bison (2-1-0, 0-1-0 CCC) outshot the Nor'easters 30-25 and saw junior netminder Julia Carroll stop 22 shots. Senior Rebecca Taylor, along with juniors Sarah Zeidan and Lauren Rokala, each collected an assist.
