WORCESTER, Mass. – The Nichols College women's basketball team was defeated by WPI 84-52 Tuesday night in non-conference action at Harrington Auditorium.

Sophomore Abrianna Vazquez led the Bison (4-3) with 12 points while classmate and reigning Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week Summer Klein netted 11. Senior Jillian Spillane collected six points, five boards, two assists, two steals, and one block.

The Engineers shot 49 percent from the field and held a 50-20 edge on the glass, which helped them overcome 24 turnovers.
