Matt Alectus scored a season-high 19 points in Nichols College's 80-68 win over Worcester State University Wednesday night in non-conference men's basketball action at the Wellness Center on the campus of Worcester State.
The Mercy College transfer also pulled down nine rebounds as the Bison remained unbeaten at 4-0. Junior
Jakigh Dottin added 16 points, six boards, and six dimes while freshman
Tahmeen Dupree notched 13 points and nine boards, and senior
Jaekwon Spencer picked up 11 points and six rebounds.

Jason O'Regan's triple with 6:37 remaining in the first half gave the Bison the lead for good at 27-24. In the second half, the lead swelled to as many as 16 points following a layup from Dottin with 9:27 to go.
The Bison canned 43 percent of their shots and held the Lancers (2-3) to 33 percent shooting. Worcester State outrebounded the Bison, 54-50.
