WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore Abrianna Vazquez scored 17 points and dished out five assists in Nichols College's 75-65 loss at Worcester State University Wednesday night in non-conference action at the Wellness Center on the WSU campus.

Junior Leandra Ortiz chipped in with 14 points for the Bison (1-2), who forced 34 turnovers but were outrebounded 58-39. Sophomore Summer Klein nearly collected her second double-double of the season, finishing with 11 points and nine rebounds. Junior Toni Geisel closed her evening with nine points for NC.

The Lancers (2-1) shot 44 percent from the field and led for all but the first 2:03 of the contest.
