SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Nichols College football team suffered a 49-0 setback at the hands of Western New England University Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Football action at Golden Bear Stadium.

Senior Hunter Ferreira caught eight passes for 55 yards and also completed a 32-yard pass for the Bison (2-5, 0-3 CCC) while graduate student Earl Jones recorded six tackles on defense. Junior Muhammed Camara picked up an interception and also finished with five tackles.

Graduate student Joshua Pierre-Charles rushed for a team-high 40 yards while senior Tyler Goodman and junior Logan Sawyer combined to go 20-of-40 for 164 yards through the air.
