BIDDEFORD, Maine – Junior Logan Sawyer threw for 302 yards and two touchdowns in Nichols College's 28-19 loss at the University of New England Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Football action at UNE Blue Storm Stadium.

Sawyer connected with sophomore Joshua Vitti from 46 yards out in the second quarter and later found senior Kevin Diaz from two yards out in the fourth. Vitti finished the contest with nine receptions for 128 yards while senior Hunter Ferreira caught eight passes for 98 yards.

Graduate student Joshua Pierre-Charles rushes for 38 yards and his fourth TD of the season for the Bison. Defensively, junior captain Joe Cox and sophomore Joshua Sayer each collected eight tackles (five solo). Graduate student Dylan Kehoe recorded his third interception of the season and junior Phil Dinov forced and recovered a fumble.
