Sophomore
Cian Keohane notched 12 points, on six goals and six assists as the Nichols College men's lacrosse team defeated Rivier University 17-5 in non-conference action Tuesday evening at Vendetti Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.
The Bison saw Keohane score six goals on eight shots, while classmate
Hunter Ferreira tallied seven points on four goals and three assists. Junior
Brendan Coates and freshman
Ethan Hopey both notched a pair of goals apaiece while Coates added in three assists. The Bison started strong, making the score 3-1 at the end of one and 10-4 at the half and never trailed once.
The Raiders were led by Jeffrey Potter who scored his first three goals of the season, as the Raiders opened up there 2020 season in Dudley. Jacob Enwright and Nick Ackerman scored the other two goals for Rivier, as they were outshot 48-22 in the contest.
