Three things you need to know...
-Today's matches marked the second all-time meeting between Nichols College and Emerson College. The Lions defeated the Bison in the inaugural varsity match for the Bison last season. The series is now tied at one.
-Nichols won set one, 25-12, before dropping the second set, 25-17. The Bison rallied back to win sets three (25-17) and four (25-16) to close the match.
-Wang sits second in service aces/set (0.70) and third in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) in kills/set (3.68). Chavez, meanwhile, is tops in digs/set (2.62).
