Nicholas Mangone scored a pair of goals in Nichols College's 4-4 tie with Wentworth Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey action at Allied Veterans Rink.

Adam Tracey scored a pair of goals for Wentworth and finished the weekend with three tallies as the Leopards (6-11-2, 2-8-2 CCC) outshot the Bison 38-32 – including 14-7 in the third period. WIT carried a 2-1 lead into the third before a pair of goals by Mangone 6:19 apart put the Bison ahead, 3-2.
The Leopards knotted the game at three on a goal by Connor Busch midway through the frame before Tracey's eighth of the season with 2:29 to go put the Leopards on top, 4-3. With Epp on the bench for the extra attacker, sophomore
Curtis Carlson scored his 11th of the season with 1:17 on the clock to tie the game at four. The goal gave Carlson seven goals in his last five games and a total of 11 points (7-4-11) during that span.

-Tonight's contest marked the 46th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Wentworth Institute of Technology. The Bison are 7-0-2 in the last eight and lead the series, 25-18-3.
-Mangone – who today became the second Bison to appear in his 100th career game this season – has four goals in his last two games and now has nine points this season (6-3-9) and 36 points (19-17-36) in 100 career games.
-Perron finished with a goal and an assist and now has eight points (5-3-8) in his last seven games.
