The Nichols College women's basketball team lost to Endicott College 96-43 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday night at the Nichols Athletics Center in Dudley, Massachusetts.
The Bison were led by freshman
Gina Parmenter who dropped in 15 points (6-of-19 FG), including a pair of three-pointers and four rebounds. Fellow classmate
Alexis Finnerty scored 11 points (4-of-16 FG) while also picking up five rebounds and two assists in the contest.
The Gulls were led by four student-athletes who all scored in double-figures; Kaleigh Putnam (16), Shannon Gilbert (14), Emily Pratt (12) and Mikaela Rodgers (12). Putnam was the games leading scorer while she added five rebounds and six assists in the contest. Lexi Gellerman led all student-athletes with eight rebounds in the game while also dropping in five points and dishing out four assists.
Three things you need to know…
-Gilbert scored 12 of her 14 points with the three-ball, shooting 4-of-8 from the distance.
-The Gulls outrebounded the Bison 54-49.
-Tonight's contest marked the 31st all-time meeting between the two programs.
