The Nichols College women's basketball team lost to Wellesley 64-52 in non-conference action Saturday afternoon in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
The Bison saw three student-athletes score in double-figures in the game, led by a 16-point effort (4-of-7) from junior
Isabella Nerney, as well as adding in five rebounds and four assists.. Freshman
Alexis Finnerty dropped in 12 points (3-of-6), with two steals. Fellow freshman
Gina Parmenter added 11 points herself, while dishing out a pair of assists. Senior
Ciarri Formby-Lavertu collected a team-high six rebounds and picked up five steals along the way. The Bison (3-7) went into the half with a one point advantage before the Blue (6-1) outscored the Bison 16-4 in the third quarter to pull away with the lead.
The Blue were led by four student-athletes scoring in double-figures; Caitlin Aguirre (16), Alyssa Cho (14), Emily Kopp (11) and Jiyun Chae (11). Aguirre shot 8-of-18 from the field while also bringing down eight rebounds and picking up five steals along the way to help lead the Blue to the win. Chae picked up a game-high nine rebounds for the Blue, who out rebounded the Bison 41-31.

-Nichols shot 38.5% from the field, the second highest this season.
-Today's game marked the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs.
