The Nichols College women's basketball team lost to Endicott 102-66 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday evening at MacDonald Gymnasium in Beverly, Massachusetts.
The Bison (5-13, 3-7 CCC) fell behind early after the Gulls pulled away in the first quarter outscoring the Bison 28-6. Nichols was led offensively by freshman and reigning CCC Rookie of the Week
Alexis Finnerty, who poured in a team-high 15 points (5-of-10 FG) including six points from behind the three-point line. Junior
Isabella Nerney scored 12 points for the Bison (3-of-10 FG) to go along with her three rebounds and a team-high four steals. Freshman
Jenna Gordon was the other Bison who scored in double-figures, putting up 10 points (3-of-3 FG), along with two boards.
The Gulls saw five student-athletes score in double figures led by a 15-point effort from Kaleigh Putnam, who filled the stat sheet adding a steal, two blocks, four assists and four rebounds. Mikaela Rogers (14), Shannon Gilbert (11), Emily St. Thomas (11) and Emily Pratt (10) all scored in double-figures for EC.
