Jack Cowan scored a career-high 13 points in Nichols College's 76-53 loss at Wentworth Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's basketball action at Nelson Recreation Center.

Cowan knocked down three 3-pointers in 17 minutes of action for the Bison (11-7, 6-3 CCC), who shot 29 percent from the field and 56 percent from the free throw line (13-of-23). Junior
Matt Morrow added nine points and nine rebounds while junior
Nate Tenaglia had eight points and junior
Jacobee Burpee netted seven points.

Stephen Azums posted a double-double for the Leopards (12-6, 5-4 CCC) with 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Noah Bice led all student-athletes with 17 points (6-of-11 FG) as Wentworth canned 49 percent of its shots and led wire-to-wire, building a lead of 33 points midway through the second half.

      -Today's contest marks the 52nd all-time meeting between Nichols College and Wentworth Institute of Technology. The loss snaps the Bison's six-game winning streak, however they still lead the series 28-23.
