Sophomores Lance Law and Ray Wang each racked up five service aces in Nichols College's 3-0 win over Emerson College in non-conference men's volleyball action Thursday night at the Nichols Athletic Center.
 
Wang also notched seven kills and five digs while Law tallied six kills and four digs for the Bison (1-0), who won game one 25-18, game two 25-13, and game three 25-9. Senior Kevin Keohane dished out 15 assists to go with three service aces and three digs, senior Oscar Chavez recorded 11 digs, and graduate student Andre Foster racked up seven kills, two blocks, and one service ace.
 
Junior Samuel Willinger and freshman Parker Gray each picked up three kills for the Lions (0-1). Sophomore Josh Elliott posted six digs and two blocks.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Tonight's contest marked the inaugural meeting between Nichols College and Emerson College.
            -The Lions posted a -.176 hitting percentage and posted just nine kills on the night.
            -The Bison collected a total of 16 service aces, a feat which they accomplished four times during their inaugural season of varsity competition in 2019.
