The Nichols College women's basketball team defeated Curry College 70-57 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at the Nichols Athletic Center in Dudley, Massachusetts.

Alexis Finnerty filled the stat sheet by pouring in 16 points (7-of-17 FG) while grabbing seven boards, dishing out five assists and making her presence known on defense with two blocks. The Bison were led by junior
Isabella Nerney who scored a game-high 17 points (5-of-11 FG), nine of which came from behind the arc. Nerney also grabbed seven boards and picked up a steal along the way. The Bison were neck and neck with the Colonels up-until the fourth quarter, where they ended up out scoring Curry 22-7 to pull away with the 13-point conference victory.
The Colonels received a huge effort from Kathryn Dunn who recorded a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. She also dished out six assists and recorded a steal and a block on the defensive end. Katie Smith was the other Colonel in double-figures with an 11-point effort to go along with her game-high eight assists.

Shannon St. Lawrence snagged 11 rebounds for the Bison. This is her third game this season with double-figure rebounds.
-Freshman
Gina Parmenter was a rebound away from a double-double, with 11 points and nine boards.
-With today's win the Bison have now matched the total number of wins from last season.
