The Nichols College women's basketball team lost to The University of New England 64-39 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at Harold Alfond Forum in Biddeford, Maine.
The Bison (3-10, 1-4 CCC) were led by freshman
Gina Parmenter who dropped in a team-high 14-points (4-of-13 FG), along with two rebounds and three steals. Senior
Ciarri Formby-Lavertu scored eight points, the second most on the team to go along with three boards. Junior
Isabella Nerney picked up a team-high eight boards, to go along with her four points and four assists.
The Nor'easters (12-3, 6-0 CCC) were paced by Abby Cavallaro who poured in 14 points (5-of-6 FG), including two boards and a pair of assists. Jocelyn Chaput also scored in double-figures putting up 13-points, with a game-high nine assists for UNE.
Three things you need to know…
-Parmenter has now scored in double-figures in three of her last four games.
-Kaylee Beyor grabbed a game-high 12 boards for the Nor'easters.
-Today's game marked the 32nd all-time meeting between the two schools.
