Freshman Mackenzie Doran scored her fifth goal of the season for the Nichols College field hockey team, which suffered a 7-1 loss to Endicott College Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday night at Vendetti Field.
 
Senior Brooke Misbach turned aside 20 shots for the Bison (3-5, 0-3 CCC), who led 1-0 after Doran's marker 4:12 into the contest. The Gulls (5-4, 2-0 CCC) answered with seven unanswered goals, including two from both Kristen McCarthy and Jaylin Grabau.  
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Endicott held a 44-4 edge in shots and a 19-1 advantage in penalty corners.
            -Misbach was at her best in the second quarter, when she recorded 10 of her 20 saves.
            -Junior Carlee Tolley recorded an assist on Doran's marker.
