Quote
"We are very excited about our performance in our first match tonight. We created numerous scoring opportunities and coupled that with a great defensive effort. Our back line of Emma, Hallie, Maddie, and Nicole along with Goalkeeper Olivia were solid, not only taking opportunities away but also creating them through building out of the back. The first win of the season came through a hard fought battle. MCLA was a talented side with some dangerous attacking movement, as well as a very talented goalkeeper who snagged quite a few of our opportunities. We are excited for Meg Dunn and Mel to have combined for our first goal of the season. We are looking forward to the grit and athleticism that this team has and seeing that on a consistent basis. Can't wait to see this team get after it again on Sunday 12pm on the turf!" – Nichols head coach
Karen Gurnon
