The Nichols College baseball team split a pair of Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) games with Gordon College on Monday afternoon in Wenham, Massachusetts.
Game 1 – Nichols 3, Gordon 5 (8 innings)
The Bison (19-18, 6-8 CCC) opened the scoring in the second inning thanks to an RBI double by freshman
Tyler Heenan. Junior
Kyle Bouchard would add to Nichols' scoring with his own two RBI single in the seventh inning.

Jack Dicenso started for the Bison and was on the hook for the loss, throwing 2.1 innings in which he gave up three runs on four hits while striking out four.
\Game 2 – Nichols 1, Gordon 0 (8 innings)
Nichols picked up their lone run of the game thanks to a sacrifice fly by sophomore
Nathaniel Cormier. Gordon (10-26, 4-10 CCC) would get three hits and a walk, but none of the baserunners would see the plate.
Freshman
Brendan Duffy and sophomore
Robert Cobb would split the game getting four innings a piece, giving up two hits and one hit, respectively. Cobb would get the win on the day.
