The Nichols College men's lacrosse team defeated Dean College 15-10 in a non-conference game Thursday afternoon at Vendetti Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.
 
The Bison (8-6) were led offensively by junior Cole Fontana who notched five points on four goals and one assist. Sophomore Brendan Coates and freshman Hunter Ferreira both scored three goals apiece for the Bison, while Ferreira also added a pair of assists. Senior goalie Brian McKinley saved nine shots as he picked up his eighth win of the season in net.
 
The Bulldogs (7-5) received six points on five goals and one assist from Anthony Trasacco. Louis Piccolo added three more goals on 10 shots for Dean as the fell short against the Bison.
 
Three things you need to know…
-Nichols outshot Dean, 50-27.
-The Bison's 50 shots is the second most shots in a game this season. They put up 54 against Anna Maria on March 14.
-Today's game marked the 11th all-time meeting between the two programs. Nichols improves to 9-2 all-time.
