The Nichols College baseball team lost the Mitchell College 5-2 in a non-conference matchup at Alumni Field in New London, Connecticut.

The Bison (17-13) received all thee offense thanks to junior
Kyle Bouchard who went 2-for-3 on the day with two RBI. The Bison's first run came in the fourth inning via an RBI single from Bouchard. The very next inning Bouchard hit a sac fly, driving in freshman
Tyler Heenan to tie the game at two. Mitchell went on to score two runs in the fifth and added another in the eighth.

Mitchell (23-6) were led by freshman Dougie DelaCruz who went 2-for-3 including a solo home run in the eighth inning. Nichols junior
Andrew Charbonneau got the start for the Bison, he went 4.2 innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on four hits, while striking out two batter.

Brendan Duffy pitched two innings of work and lowered his ERA to 2.17, which is good for third best in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).
