The Nichols College men's lacrosse team defeated Becker College 18-4 Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field in Leicester, Massachusetts.

The Bison (7-6) jumped out to a quick 16-1 halftime lead thanks in part to six student-athletes recording a multi-point game;
Cole Fontana (3-1-4),
Brendan Coates (2-0-2),
Hunter Ferreira (2-5-7),
Christian Baldino (2-0-2),
Vincenzo Kulturides (2-0-2), and
Casey Campanale (1-1-2). Sophomore
Griffin Jasin saw 45:00 between the pipes and recorded a season-high five saves, and five groundballs.

The Hawks (0-9) were led by Matthew Guerin who notched a team-high two goals in the game, while Jack Schneider also recorded two points on a goal and an assist. Goalie Daniel Whittenburg turned aside 14 shots in the loss.

-The Bison are now 5-2 through their first seven non-conference games.
-Nichols is now a perfect 10-0 all-time against Becker.
-Ferreira recorded his second seven-point game of the season on two goals and five assists. His other seven point-game came against Gordon.
