Miranda Smith scored five goals for the Nichols College women's lacrosse team, which was defeated by Curry College 19-9 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Vendetti Field.

Kirsten Sullivan added a pair of goals for the Bison (2-11, 0-7 CCC), who saw sophomore
Lizz McKinnon win eight draw controls. Curry was led by Allie Wysocki and Leona Stevens with four goals apiece while Abby Dubel and Katie Parker each scored three times.

Nichols led 5-4 in the first half following a goal from Smith at 13:13. The Colonels finished the half on a 7-2 run to build an 11-7 halftime lead, then scored five of the first six goals of the second half to extend its lead to 16-8 with 13:42 left on the clock.
