Ray Wang notched a match-high 13 kills in Nichols College's 3-0 win over Southern Vermont University Wednesday night in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) men's volleyball action in Bennington, Vt.

Wang added five service aces and four digs for the Bison (8-7, 4-2 NECC), who won games one and two by identical 25-14 score before closing the match with a 25-15 triumph in game three. Freshman
Lance Law picked up 11 kills, six service aces, and four digs while classmate
Luis Castro registered 26 assists and five digs.

Seven of Wang's kills came in the first set victory. Law tallied five kills in the second set while Castro handed out 26 assists, and four kills from Wang and three form freshman
Sean Jackson in the final set sent the Bison home with a win.

Nichols posted a .357 hitting percentage for the match and tallied an assist on all but one of its 35 kills.

Three things you need to know...
            -Castro leads the NECC in assists/match (8.77) and has dished out 20+ assists in 10 matches this spring.
            -Wang ranks third in kills/set (3.54) and fourth in hitting pct. (.287) in the NECC. He has six double-digit kill matches in 2019.
            -Law is third in service aces/set (0.57) and fifth in kills (139) in the NECC this season.
