Lance Law collected 15 kills and 11 digs in Nichols College's 3-0 win over Newbury College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) men's volleyball action Saturday morning in Brookline, Mass. The Bison later fell to No. 12 Endicott, 3-0.

Law posted a hitting pct. of .444 against the Nighthawks while classmate
Ray Wang posted 13 kills and six digs. The Bison (9-8, 5-3 NECC) won game one 25-22, game two 25-14, and game three 25-4; they posted a .421 hitting percentage in the final set.

Oscar Chavez led Nichols with 13 digs against Newbury (6-11, 5-2 NECC) and freshman
Luis Castro handed out 28 assists to go with three digs. Against Endicott, Wang and Law each registered nine kills and Castro racked up 23 assists. The Gulls won 25-22, 25-14, and 25-14.

            -Castro leads the NECC in assists/match (8.73) and total assists (428), and has dished out 20+ assists in 12 matches this spring.
            -Wang ranks third in kills/set (3.56) and seventh in hitting pct. (.256) in the NECC. He has seven double-digit kill matches in 2019.
            -Law is fourth in total kills (163) and fifth in kills/set (3.13) in the conference.
