Lizz McKinnon each scored four goals in Nichols College's 18-17 overtime loss to Cazenovia University Thursday afternoon in non-conference action at Ann Dever Park in Florida.

Kirsten Sullivan and junior
Miranda Smith each potted three for the Bison (2-3). McKinnon scored three of her goals in the first half while Smith and Kozloski each scored twice as Nichols trailed at the half, 12-11.
The Bison opened up a 16-13 lead midway through the second half behind goals two goals from Sullivan. Later, a goal from Kozloski put NC ahead 17-14 with 10:45 on the clock before the Wildcats (1-2) stormed back to tie the game with 1:46 remaining in regulation.
In overtime, following a great scoring chance by freshman
Elizabeth Luster, the Wildcats came the other way and potted the GWG with six seconds remaining in the first OT.
Three things you need to know...
-Today's contest marked the inaugural meeting between Nichols College and Cazenovia University. The Wildcats now lead the series, 1-0.
-McKinnon led Nichols with six ground balls. She also won two draw controls and caused a pair of turnovers.
-The Wildcats outshot the Bison 32-25 and were successful on 13 of their 14 clear attempts.
