The Nichols College women's lacrosse team was defeated by Lasell College 20-12 in non-conference action Thursday afternoon at Vendetti Field.

Kirsten Sullivan and junior
Danielle Kozloski each scored three times for the Bison (2-1), who also received two goals from junior
Miranda Smith. Kozloski notched a team-high five ground balls and converted both of her free position attempts.

Senior Jordan McComb led all student-athletes with seven goals and now has 102 for her career, making her the ninth player in Lasell program history to hit the century mark. Classmate Vanessa Pino dished out five assists and also scored a pair of goals for the Lasers (3-1), who outshot the Bison 32-28 and won 22-of-34 draw controls.

McComb scored four of her goals in the first half to pace Lasell while Kozloski accounted for three of the four NC goals. The Lasers opened the second half by scoring five of the first seven goals to open up a 16-6 lead. Pino registered a goal and two assists during the run while McComb netted a pair.

Lindsey Gerzabek scored her first collegiate goal with 14:30 to go in the first half.
            -Kozloski led the Bison with six draw controls and also caused a pair of turnovers. Junior Amanda DiLeonardo collected six to lead Lasell.

Emily Eagan got her first start of the season in the crease and stopped five shots.
