Brendan Coates collected six points on three goals and three assists to propel the Nichols College men's lacrosse team to a 12-2 victory over Anna Maria in a non-conference matchup Thursday night on Vendetti Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.

Nichols (3-1) came out firing as they scored the first six goals of the game from five different Bison. Freshman
Hunter Ferreira collected his first collegiate point at the 8:35 marker when he fired home a goal with an assist from Coates.

The AMCats (2-3) got on the board when Cameron Perry scored an UP goal with 5:58 left in the second quarter to bring the score to 6-1. Anna Maria junior attacker Brandon Pavoni scored the second and last AMCat goal with just under three minutes left in the first half. Senior goalie
Brian McKinley recorded 11 saves in the win.
