The Nichols College men's ice hockey team rallied from a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 tie with No. 13 University of New England Friday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey action at Harry Alfond Forum.

Curtis Carlson potted goals for the Bison (10-10-3, 8-5-2 CCC), who trailed by a pair of goals midway through the second period. Freshman netminder
Brett Epp recorded 35 saves to move to 6-7-1.
Ryan Bloom and Tyler Seltenreich scored for the Nor'easters (16-5-2 (10-4-1 CCC). Ben Churchfeld turned aside 41 shots as is record moved to 11-4-2.

-Tonight's contest marked the eighth all-time meeting between Nichols College and the University of New England. The series is even at 3-3-2.

Ben Campbell recorded an assist and is now four points shy of 50 for his career (13-33-46).
-The two schools combined to go 0-for-7 with the man advantage.
