The Nichols College men's volleyball team swept the first tri-match in program history on Saturday afternoon in Johnson, Vermont as they defeated Northern Vermont-Johnson and Southern Vermont by identical 3-0 scores at Carter Gym.

The Bison downed the Badgers 25-7, 25-7, and 25-11 before ousting the Mountaineers 25-14, 25-6, 25-19.

Freshman
Lance Law led the Bison with eight kills against the Badgers while senior
Andre Foster collected five. Freshman
Kevin Keohane dished out 10 assists while both Law and Keohane each notched five service aces.

Against Southern Vermont, freshman
Collin Hunter led all student-athletes with nine kills while both Foster and Law picked up seven. Hunter also notched 13 digs, freshman
Oscar Chavez had 10 digs, and freshman
Luis Castro handed out 33 assists.

Three things you need to know...
            -Wang leads the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) in kills/set at 3.95.
            -Hunter (2.52) and Castro (2.22) rank third and fifth, respectively, in digs/set in the NECC. Hunter is also second in service aces/set (0.59).
            -Castro leads the conference in assists/set (8.33).
