Bison ooutshoot Gulls but fall 5-1

Recap
The Nichols College men's ice hockey team was defeated by Endicott College 5-1 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Raymond J. Bourque Arena in Beverly, Mass.
 
Senior Hogan Davidson scored his first goal of the season for the Bison (0-9-0, 0-7-0 CCC) with assists going to senior Luke Andracki and graduate student J.B. Baker.
 
James Winkler picked up a goal and an assist for the Gulls (6-3-0, 5-2-0 CCC) while Zach Mazur dished out three assists.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -The Gulls went 2-for-7 with the man advantage and killed off all six PP chances for Nichols.
            -The Bison outshot Endicott 34-31 – including 15-9 in the first period which ended scoreless.
            -Sophomore Brett Epp turned aside 26 shots for Nichols.
