Nate Tenaglia racked up 16 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Sophomore
Jaekwon Spencer filled the stat sheet with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and four rebounds as he recorded his first double-double of the season and the second of his collegiate career.

Lasell junior Kevin Nunez poured in a game-high 29 points (11-of-21 FG) as the Lasers (1-8) earned their first win of the season. Senior Stefan Masciarelli tossed in 26 points (13-of-20 FG) from the field. Junior Keith Vanderhorst added 18 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

Nichols (6-1) overcame a three-point halftime deficit (52-49) to grab a four-point lead at 70-66 following a triple by Spencer midway through the second half. Lasell tied the game 31 seconds later and went ahead for good on a layup by Nunez with 7:58 on the clock.

Three things you need to know...
            -The Lasers knocked down 50 percent of their three-point attempts (7-of-14) and finished the contest shooting 56 percent.
      -Nichols held a 42-33 edge on the glass but committed 18 turnovers which led to 26 Lasell points. The game also featured 13 ties.
            -The loss snaps a six-game winning streak against the Lasers. Nichols still lead the all-time series, 8-5.
