Alexis Finnerty poured in a career-high 26 points in Nichols College's 81-56 loss to Gordon College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday night at the Bennett Center in Wenham, Massachusetts.
The Bison were led by Finnerty who put up 26 points (9-of-20 FG) and brought down three boards. Sophomore
Ciarri Formby-Lavertu was second on the team with nine points on an efficient 4-of-6 from the field, while collecting a team-high five rebounds. Junior
Isabella Nerney, coming off an historic 36-point performance over the weekend had eight points (3-for-11 FG), with two rebounds and two assists.
The Fighting Scots were led to victory by Meghan Foley who poured in a game-high 39 points on a very efficient 50% clip (15-of-30 FG), while also collecting 11 rebounds and three assists. Madison Wynbeek was second for Gordon with 12 points, five rebounds and an assist. Sarah Gibbs led all players with 12 rebounds and six assists for Gordon.

-Gordon outscored Nichols 46-30 in the paint.
-Finnerty has now scored 20+ points in three of the Bison's first nine games.
-Nichols shot 37% from the field, which is the second highest on the season.
